Add a Liberal Dose of Understanding

The closer the relationship with someone is, the more effort you should make to understand them. Someone becomes closer and dearer to you only as you understand them better. If they understand you, they enjoy the closeness of the relationship. If you understand them better, then you enjoy the closeness.

If you are expecting the other to understand and comply with you all the time while you don’t understand the limitations, possibilities, needs and capabilities of that person, then conflict is all that will happen.

Your interests and hobbies

Obviously you shouldn’t feel pressured to drop all of your interests and adopt new ones when you get into a relationship.

But it’s only natural that the more time you spend with someone, the more invested you could reasonably become in the stuff that person likes.

Hold on to your previous hobbies, but be willing to explore the things that appeal to your partner. You might just discover new things whatever that you absolutely love.

Treat life’s challenges as opportunities.

Every relationship offers us many opportunities to learn and to grow. We often miss these opportunities by staying attached to our ego and its desires.

Observe your beliefs about how life or other people should be and behave and welcome every challenging situation as an opportunity to learn, grow, and expand your consciousness.
